  5. About ExtraExtras
  6. -----------------
  7. ExtraExtras adds new functionality to the Extras Drawer by adding three new
  8. actions to the Extras Drawer's action button: "Get Info", "Freeze" and
  9. "Thaw".  The "Get Info" action opens a view containing information about
  10. the selected package.  The "Freeze" action freezes, or deactivates, the
  11. selected package(s).  When a package is frozen it does not use any heap
  12. memory, but any functionality that it may provide will not be available.
  13. The "Thaw" action will thaw, or reactivate, the selected package(s).

  15. Using ExtraExtras
  16. -----------------
  17. WARNING: this package is know to conflict with packages that provide
  18. similar functionality, such as Standalone's Freeze Utils.  You should
  19. freeze or remove such packages before installing ExtraExtras.

  21. Once ExtraExtras is installed, three new options will appear in the action
  22. button popup of the Extras Drawer: "Get Info", "Freeze" and "Thaw".  To get
  23. package information, select a single package in the Extras Drawer and
  24. choose the "Get Info" option from the action button popup.  To freeze or
  25. thaw packages, select the packages in the Extras Drawer and select the
  26. "Freeze" or "Thaw" option from the action button popup.
